Dzień Babci i Dziadka
Happen Annually
Calgary, Alberta
Polanie’s Dzień Babci i Dziadka celebration is a warm, heartfelt event dedicated to honouring grandparents and the important role they play in family and cultural life. The gathering is filled with good food, fun games, prizes and performances by Polanie’s dancers, and sometimes guests who join to share traditional Polish songs and choreography as a tribute to the generations who came before them. It’s a joyful, sentimental afternoon where families come together, children proudly perform for their babcias and dziadeks, and the community celebrates the tradition of Grandparent's Day.
